Welcome to No Yeah Buts, where foundational reading skills are taught based on the science of reading philosophy. Specializing in supporting children with reading disabilities like dyslexia, we provide expert tutoring to help every child unlock their full potential.

Kathy Jones, M.Ed, Owner, Operator, Reading Tutor
I am a recently retired Elementary School teacher. I taught and coached literacy for 34 years in the Coeur d'Alene School District. I have a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. My area of expertise is in the teaching of foundational reading skills based on the science of reading philosophy, with an emphasis on children struggling with reading disabilities, like, but not limited to, dyslexia. I am trained in the Lindamood Bell systems of reading, LETRS, and Orton Gillingham. I continue to attend conferences, summits and professional development workshops focusing on the science of reading. I now practice my craft at my tutoring school, No Yeah Buts, Reading Help for Everyone. I am currently the literacy coach and consultant for the Post Falls School District, #273 and have a new adventure as a capacity builder for the state of Idaho. My belief is that every person has "The right" to read. My goal is to make that happen for all of my students. No Yeah Buts!
Foundational reading skill tutoring
We provide expert 1:1 tutoring in foundational reading skills, utilizing structured literacy approaches such as Lindamood-Bell, LETRS, and Orton-Gillingham for students with and without reading disabilities.
